Recognising the damaging effects of single use plastics to the world, Westcolour worked with our partners to become one of the very first mailing companies in the UK to eradicate as much plastic from our supply chain as possible, fully converting to paper and other sustainably sourced recyclable materials.

Paper is purchased PEFC or FSC and fully carbon balanced by the World Land Trust.

The Westcolour story

After many years of successfully supplying print management services, we were faced with capacity issues within the wrapping industry, nowhere to produce our work, our solution was to purchase our own machine and start a wrapping and mailing arm of the business. At the same moment in time, we recognised the needs for more eco-friendly packaging solutions within the industry and invested hugely in paper wrapping technology.

In a short space of time our three lines became nine and we grew the business to where we are today, to enjoying a great reputation and work with many major brands, producing more than 500 monthly and 60 weekly subscription and shelf magazine titles.

Westcolour now has ten well equipped wrapping lines, able to fulfil any type of luxury newsstand or mailed pack, offering services that manage every aspect of your mailing project.

With over 9,000 square feet of solar roofing and green energy suppliers we maximise our eco-efforts on every level possible. Proudly employing 65 staff and serve our customers from 42,000sq feet factory space over both of our sites, utilising services where needed from several industry leading staffing agencies. Providing the UK & Europe with our eco-friendly mailing and fulfilment services.

Our new Sitma WM30 Eco High Speed paper wrapping machine is the first machine of it’s kind in the UK and is one of many recent investments.
